About Fresh Lyfe
Founded in October 2021 by the Murphy family in Maple Heights, Ohio, Fresh Lyfe was born from a passion for good food, strong roots, and healthier living. What started as a family dream has grown into a local favorite — known for our vibrant flavors, fresh ingredients, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.

About Our Owner
Terry Murphy, founder of Freshlyfe, turned a life-threatening health crisis into a powerful mission. After surviving a heart attack at just 32 years old and weighing 580 pounds, Terry made the bold decision to reclaim his health naturally. With the help of sea moss, natural herbs, and a clean, nutrient-rich diet focused on whole foods, lean proteins, and plant-based meals, he was able to transition off most of his 11 medications and lost 290 pounds. His journey sparked a deep passion to help others do the same—using food as medicine and wellness as a way of life.
Freshlyfe was born from that transformation—a health-driven restaurant dedicated to fighting chronic illness and improving food access in underserved communities. With a menu centered on clean eating and packed with flavorful, plant-forward meals and lean proteins, Freshlyfe helps customers nourish their bodies without sacrificing taste.
TUnder Terry’s leadership, the mission goes far beyond the plate. Through partnerships with local schools, libraries, and farmers, as well as hands-on workshops and education initiatives, Freshlyfe is building a healthier, more empowered community—one meal at a time.
